Role in the Lloyd's Register Group
Stephen is accountable for the strategic direction and
operational effectiveness of the IT function throughout the Lloyd's
Register Group. He joined Lloyd's Register as IT Director in late
2000 and identified four main goals for IT in the Group:
• an affordable level of IT expenditure
• a globally consistent and reliable IT platform
• a single, highly professional, IT team supporting business
24x7
• rapid delivery of flexible software applications for all
employees and clients.
Much has been done to achieve these but they remain the fundamental
objectives for IT going forward.
