What is Certification?
Certification of the design and construction of an installation
is provided on the basis of compliance with appropriate
international/ national codes and standards, and operator
specifications.
The standards and specifications to be applied can vary from
project to project. The requirement may be governed by the
regulatory regime of the subject country.
Certificates can also be required during the operation phase of
an asset's lifecycle as a prerequisite to being permitted to
operate.
