LRQA Dubai participated in the Development Infrastructure Security Conference from 27 to 30 May and carried out a presentation on Maintaining a Secure Supply Chain, in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.

LRQA was the first certification body in the world to issue an ISO/PAS 28000 certificate.

Many delegates from various industries attended the conference. Paul Lightburn, Senior Manager, LR, gave an overview and brought them up to date on the Supply Chain Security Management Systems. He explained the requirements for the ISO 28000 family of standards.

There were several other speakers who participated in the conference and spoke about development infrastructure security in the middle east and emphasised the importance for developing a common GCC standard for security.

LRQA Dubai established close relationship with many delegates during the conference.
