A design appraisal is an independent review against the requirements of a code, standard or specification. This is most commonly associated with products such as a pressure vessel or medical device, but we can carry out a design appraisal on the majority of designs.

We carry out the appraisal independently of the design function. People familiar with the technology being used in the design will carry out the appraisal. The design appraisal should confirm that the specified design solution is effective and that the requirement of all design criteria are addressed.
