Project description
The project involves the installation of 14 wind turbines, each
of which has a capacity of 1,500 kW, reaching a total install
capacity of 21 MW at Chongming and Nanhui in Shanghai, China.
Supplying power generated from such zero-emission sources as wind
to East China Power Grid can reduce the emission of greenhouse
gases to the atmosphere
The applied methodology is ACM0002 / Version 06 "Consolidated
baseline methodology for grid-connected electricity generation from
renewable sources ".
The project is a normal scale CDM project activity.
First renewable crediting period is 7 years and expected to start
from 01/01/2008.
Estimated annual average emission reduction is 38,006t-CO2.
Project Design Document (PDD)
Period for comments was 29 August - 27 September 2007. No
comments were received.
