Project description

The objective of the proposed project is to make lower-emission cement through substituting conventional carbonated calcium source of limestone and clay with non-carbonated calcium source of CCR for clinker production in the newly built cement plant.

When the proposed project is put into operation, it is expected to realise clinker production of 533,000 tonnes per year as well as annual GHG emission reduction of 230,347 tCO2.

The project is a large scale project.

Fixed crediting period is 10 years and expected to start from 01/09/2008.

Estimated annual emission reduction is 230,347t-CO2.
