Project description

The project activities will install landfill gas extraction equipment and utilize the recovered gas to generate electricity at Suzhou landfill in Anhui Province, China.

The project activity will use state of the art horizontal piping systems combined with rainfall management technics including drainage and erosion control and daily cover to maximise landfill gas extraction efficiency.

The applied methodology is ACM0001 / Version 05 "Consolidated baseline methodology for landfill gas project activities"

The project is a normal scale CDM project activity.

Crediting period is 3x7 years renewable and expected to start from 01/01/2008.

Estimated annual average emission reduction is 315,804t-CO2.
