Project description
The proposed project, Yellow River Hydro Power Plant, is being
developed by Luoning County Yellow River Hydropower Development
Co., Ltd. It is located along the Luohe River in Luoning County,
Henan Province. It is a run-of-river hydro power plant, with a
total installed capacity of 9MW. Operating 3,656 hours in average
yearly, the proposed project is expected to generate an electricity
output of 32,904MWh, out of which 30,630MWh will be ultimately
supplied to the Central China Power Grid (CCPG) through the Henan
Power Grid. The emission reduction resulted from the replacement of
thermal power is expected to be 29,866tCO2e per year.
Renewable crediting period of 7 years first crediting period is
chosen and expected starting date is 01/10/2008.
