Lloyd's Register has provided independent assurance and verification services to the nuclear industry for over 50 years. In the early years, as the technology was emerging, we pioneered safety and reliability assessments. We now provide a range of services as diverse as initial design evaluation through to the verification of nuclear materials and products.

Today, there are current Lloyd's Register products and services in use across the nuclear industry. We certify designs, components and internal management systems which provide assurances to our clients, and in many case, provide a confirmation to Governments and the general public of compliance to specified standards. In some cases we have the capability to develop an assurance or verification scheme to meet your specific need or circumstance.
