What are lifting equipment services?
Compliance assurance is needed to satisfy the scrutiny of
stakeholders to demonstrate that operators have met their
obligations and commitments regarding the integrity of their
installations and equipment.
In the UK, statutory legislation applies which requires
operators to satisfy this obligation to the satisfaction of the
regulatory authorities.
How we can help
An independent fully managed service can be provided for all
compliance issues by liaising with the regulatory authorities and
sub-contractors on the customer's behalf. Alternatively, schemes
can be developed and tailored to support the customer's own
management systems.
Our services include:
- Manage Certification activities in accordance with customer's
requirements.
- Provide consultancy services for compliance with verification
requirements for lifting equipment and well control equipment.
- Review verification and certification documentation for
compliance with regulatory authority requirements.
- Plan and schedule re-validation and re-certification
activities.
- Expedite appropriate documentation and present to the
regulatory authorities on behalf of the customer.
- Negotiate on customer's behalf and liaise with suppliers,
contractors and sub-contractors to ensure accurate and timely
delivery of documentation essential for statutory consents.
- Advise customers on solutions to non-conformances or other
adverse reports from regulatory authorities
- Use databases to manage the recording and scheduling of
re-validation and re-certification activities, e.g. visual
inspection, NDT and load testing.
- For mobile equipment, ensure against the expiry of certificates
during periods of critical operations.
- Compile certification dossiers on behalf of the customer for
all certifiable equipment prior to shipment offshore.
