approach
The UK's Highways Agency has confirmed their approval to proceed
with risk-based asset integrity from KBM Limited for the on-going
maintenance of road lighting across Highways Agency MAC Area 12 -
the motorways and major roads around Leeds.
This approval followed the development and successful piloting
of Arivu™ from KBM Limited within the Area.
Antony Firth, Service Manager to North MAC Area 12 said; "The
Highways Agency expect to benefit from improved maintenance
management, efficiency savings, and reduction in carbon footprint
from this innovative service."
Paul Scott, Managing Director of KBM Limited, said; "We are
delighted that our technology has received this approval from the
Highways Agency, which represents a major milestone in our
relationship."
Additional applications for the road sector include drainage,
bridges, and pavements with further models being developed as part
of an extensive programme.
