Lloyd's Register publishes latest marine technical news
publication Horizons
Lloyd's Register has published its tenth edition of Horizons, its
technical publication for the marine sector. This latest edition is
an LNG issue which provides information on the key issues affecting
this sector of commercial shipping.
Issue 10, December 2004 covers the following topics:
• the importance of training in the LNG sector
• dual-fuel and gas turbine propulsion for LNG carriers
• research on LNG sloshing
• onboard LNG reliquefaction plant
• the benefits of risk assessment in the LNG sector
• offshore floating LNG units.
