publication Horizons
Lloyd's Register has published the sixth edition of Horizons, its
technical publication for the marine sector. This latest edition
provides information on the key issues that are affecting the
maritime industry today.
In this issue, the following topics are covered:
- the urgency of achieving compliance with the International Ship
and Port Facility Security Code, in view of the swiftly approaching
deadline
- an innovative conversion project, in which Lloyd's Register
EMEA helped US owner Maritrans to convert its single-hull tankers
to double-hull tankers in a cost-effective manner
