Latest marine newsletter Horizons
Lloyd's Register's fourteenth edition of Horizons, its technical
publication for the marine sector. This latest edition provides 12
pages of information on the key technical issues affecting
commercial shipping.
Issue 14, December 2005, covers a range of technical topics:
- the elongation of a series of pure car and truck carriers in a
ship repair and conversion yard in Vietnam
- information on what to do after a shipyard fire
- information on a series of risk management training courses
being offered in Singapore and the approach of Singaporean tanker
operators to introducing risk management methodologies onboard and
ashore
