Nick is responsible for all aspects of people policy and management within Lloyd’s Register.
Nick is responsible for all aspects of people policy and management within Lloyd’s Register. His role is to agree people policy and direction with the Management Team; and to ensure it is effectively implemented through Group, Business and Regional HR teams. He is tasked with ensuring that the Group has sound, progressive and effective HR policies, which make a positive contribution to its overall performance as well as to attracting, developing, rewarding and retaining employees of the calibre required to drive our business strategy.
Previous employment
He is a seasoned commercial senior HR professional with 18 years HR strategic leadership experience spanning Europe, USA, Asia and the Emerging Markets, all gained within leading blue chip global corporations. Previous experience includes transformational interim appointments at Serco plc and Expedia Inc and as Group HR Director at Agility Logistics. Before joining Agility, he spent a number of years with Cable and Wireless plc as Senior Vice President in senior HR roles based in London, as well as leading the Regional HR functions in Asia and the USA, based in Tokyo and San Francisco. Prior to this he was with Credit Suisse First Boston in London & Moscow.
Personal
Nick has three children and is a keen skier and rugby player, although in his final season ( again!).
