Mark is responsible for defining the communications strategy and aligning it with the group's strategic objectives.
Mark is responsible for defining the communications strategy and aligning it with the group's strategic objectives. His role is to oversee all channels of communication - including public relations, print publications, advertising, events and new media - in order to articulate the Lloyd's Register brand and key messages in the most effective way to internal and external audiences. Mark is also responsible for the group's information services department.
Mark joined Lloyd's Register in September 2007. Prior to that he was Commercial Director with TradeWinds, a leading shipping newspaper, after spending four years as Group Marketing Manager in London and Oslo with V.Ships, the global marine services group.
Qualifications
Graduated from University of the West of England in Bristol in 1995 with an Honours degree in International Business and French. Mark also attended IDRAC business school in Montpellier, France.
Personal Background
Mark is married with three children and enjoys cycling, skiing and the arts. He is the co-founder of Tour Pour La Mer, a charity cycle event for the maritime industry to raise funds for The Mission to Seafarers.
