The Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees and the Executive Leadership Team work together to govern and direct the activities of the Group.

Lloyd’s Register, the parent society in the Lloyd’s Register Group, is governed by a small Board of Trustees, chaired by Thomas Thune Andersen. The members of this Board are elected by the Members of Lloyd’s Register’s General Committee. The Board, in turn, requires the Chief Executive Officer, Richard Sadler, to provide guidance and direction to the heads of the various entities in the Lloyd's Register Group.
