Integration of core management systems gives IBS clear competitive advantage
LRQA and IBS started working together in September 1999. In February 2000, IBS was awarded its first ISO 9001 certificate. In 2005, IBS DataFort (formally a department of IBS) and LRQA began moving towards a Business Assurance approach, with certification to ISO 20000, the IT Service Management System Standard being integrated in May, 2006, and certification to ISO 27001, the Information Security Management System Standard in November, 2006.
The integration of all three standards into one Integrated Management Systems (IMS) approach has given IBS DataFort a clear competitive advantage. They are the first Russian corporation to have a truly IMS approach to their business. Dr. Simon Milman, the Quality Director of IBS DataFort, worked with LRQA to create a complete case study.
