I joined LR 8 years ago as a graduate trainee and after spending time training in the UK re-located to Poland to complete my development stage and was responsible for hull new construction surveys for a series of cargo vessels.

I joined LR 8 years ago as a graduate trainee and after spending time training in the UK re-located to Poland to complete my development stage and was responsible for hull new construction surveys for a series of cargo vessels.

After completing the graduate training program in 2005 I joined the LR team in Dalian China. Since then I have had the opportunity to experience vessel new construction, ship conversion projects and in service surveys at various locations throughout China.

My current role as a Project manager for ship new construction gives me the chance to put into practice the skills and training that I have gained throughout the years with LR.

 The role is demanding but rewarding as it involves leading a multi-national team to deliver our technical services to clients within the rapidly expanding shipbuilding centre. Having the chance to be part of a team carrying out surveys of all aspects of the ship construction from steel plates & components to the launch and delivery of the vessel gives great satisfaction that you have done something that matters.

Working for LR in the worlds most dynamic shipbuilding country allows me to develop my technical, commercial & relationship skills so that I have the ability to fulfill my career goals.
