EU-Produktrichtlinien wurden von der Europäischen Union geschaffen, um einen freien Verkehr von Waren und Dienstleistungen innerhalb Europas zu ermöglichen.
Mit einer Zertifizierung gemäß der Produktrichtlinie der Europäische Kommission (EU-Richtlinie) bieten Sie Ihren Kunden genau die Sicherheit, die sie erwarten.
Die EU-Richtlinien wurden von der Europäischen Union (EU) als Ergebnis der Römischen Verträge von 1957 geschaffen. Ihr Anliegen ist es, Barrieren für den innereuropäischen Handel zu beseitigen, die aus dem mehrfachen Testen und Zertifizieren von Gegenständen und Ausrüstung resultieren, mit deren Hilfe jedes einzelne EU-Mitgliedsland die Einhaltung der eigenen Bestimmungen sicherstellt.
Unabhängige Prüfungen, Inspektionen oder Zertifizierungen eines Produkts entsprechend den Richtlinien müssen von einer Institution vorgenommen werden, die von einer Regierung der Gemeinschaft zugelassen und der EU gemeldet ist.
Leistungen zu EU-Richtlinien werden von LRQA und Lloyd's Register Verification I im Auftrag der Lloyd's Register-Gruppe angeboten.
