Product Certification Assist Specialist

This role is responsible to provide specialist business support within the area of product certification to meet specific business objectives using procedures, experience and knowledge appropriate in handling complex/demanding situations.

This role is also responsible to strength relationship with key OEM clients through facilitating internal resources.

The role 

Assist managing technical communication with key clients, including organizing regular meetings to exchange information and gathering feedback to improve client satisfaction.

Assist initiating communication and preparing cooperation plans with key clients.

Assist for feedback collection for internal process optimization.

To project manage the process of complex product certification from end-2-end monitoring project progress

and spend against budget and contract requirements.

Support the Global Product Certification Team Manager in Eastern Area in providing an efficient and effective service. This includes recruitment, succession planning, personal performance management and personal training/development.

Work with the Product Certification Manager and other Product Certification Specialists to ensure alignment of

processes and exchange of information/knowledge and mutual support.

Closely cooperate with local Service Delivery and Sales teams to ensure best possible cooperation and support.

Identify, suggest and assist managers with implementing change and developments to the section’s processes and procedures to meet future business demands and improve current efficiency within own specialist area.

Ensure that activities within their area of control are carried out in line with internal procedures, contractual requirements, cost structures and budget constraints.

Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation and industry standards.

To pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and

awareness.

To mentor/coach other specialist employees to achieve effective specialist knowledge transfer and application.

Deal with complex queries and build relationships with internal and external clients, as appropriate, including resolution of support service problems.

Ensures documentation/data/information and tasks relevant to the section are planned, evaluated and

processed in accordance with local business requirements and agreed deadlines.

Review & analyze data to provide management information/statistics, including the identification and reporting

of process failures, to support the overall delivery of processes.

Undertake necessary documentation, data, administration and communication activities needed to successfully

fulfil responsibilities.

 

What you bring  

A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd’s Register.

Proficiency in the English Language commensurate with the work.

Demonstrable understanding of the Project Management process, gained through experience and training – depends on job.

Good cooperation and communication skills with own team and with other internal and external stakeholders.

Strong customer orientation. Responsive and pro-active.
