Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU: Basic training course

Course Overview:

This course is designed to provide basic understanding on the EU's Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). Starting with determining the applicable category of specific pressure equipment, participants will be able to grasp the concept and the basics of the PED 2014/68/EU. The PED is becoming an increasing requirement for both engineering and manufacturing. This two-day course will provide a comprehensive review of the PED and the impact on daily operations.

The course focuses on two main areas:

  • Essential safety requirements
  • Conformity assessment

In each area, essential points of consideration will be reviewed. Owners, operators and managers will leave this course with a more complete understanding of challenges to and solutions for this helpful training course.
