LR is participating in the Annual Marine Propulsion Conference and Awards, trusted as the industry's most authoritative marine engineering conference. Its content is both relevant and specific, with the technical programme devised by an industry advisory board, as well as the editorial team behind the market leading publication Marine Propulsion & Auxiliary Machinery.
This year's agenda will focus on market drivers, operational cost management and capital expenditure as well as a first look at the technologies and practices that will impact the industry between now and 2030.
John Bradshaw, Principal Engineer, will be delivering a speech on the latest developments and operational experience of Emissions Technology, and Luis Benito, Marketing Director, Marine, will speak on a panel about the future of shipping from 2035 and beyond. Tim Kent, Technical Director, Marine, will present one of this year's new Marine Propulsion Awards. For the first time, these include a range of categories designed to acknowledge those individuals and companies innovating to deal with the challenges currently facing the maritime industry.
LR is Gold Sponsor of a networking lunch on Thursday 16 April, which will be an excellent opportunity for discussion on the latest maritime topics amongst industry leaders.
