Sahan Abeysekara, Lead Specialist, Engineering Systems will be presenting 'Revisions of the Guidelines (G8): what impact it has made to the industry?' at 12:00 on 22 March. In this presentation, Sahan will talk about IMO's much awaited revision of G8 Guidelines, Guidelines for the Type Approval of BWMS. What are the new requirements? Has this satisfied the concerns raised by the industry? Why it is difficult? Are we at the end of the tunnel?
Panayiotis Mitrou, Technology and Innovation Manager, Business Development will be presenting 'Introducing Electric Bunkering Infrastructure: The ELEMED Project' at 12:15 on 23 March. His presentation will be focusing on regulatory and policy challenges ahead; technology uptake as a key to sustainable growth; tools and opportunities to support this, making feasibility happen; initiatives undertaken in the EastMed basin; and the ELEMED project as a driver forward.
