Application: Dunga Phase II Development Project
Location: Mangystau region, Kazakhstan
The field is located in steppe flat part of the Southern Mangyshlak peninsula in immediate proximity to the sea area of the Caspian sea in Tupkaraganskiy region of Mangystau oblast. Deep exploration drilling in the Dunga area started in February 1966. The first commercial oil flow was first received in June 1969 in well 6D.
Lloyd’s Register Kazakhstan LLP (LR) has been contracted to act as Verification Body for the Dunga Phase 2 development Project. LR is required to provide a confidence that those aspects of the Project facilities included into the scope are safe. The verification process is executed through verification of activities related to design, fabrication, installation, hook-up and commissioning of the expanded process facilities included into the scope of LR services.
