Manufacturers of boilers and pressure vessels are routinely required to comply with the ASME standard.
The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) is an internationally recognised standard for the design, manufacture, inspection and testing of all kinds of pressure vessels. Outside North America there is a growing requirement for the ASME Code to be applied
ASME Code symbol stamps are applied to item nameplates by ASME approved manufacturers, and ASME Data Reports are generated to identify that an approved manufacturer has carried out the work. An Authorised Inspector carries out inspection during the manufacturing process and countersigns such Data Reports.
We provide accreditation services* to all parts of the ASME BPVC including Sections I, III, Divisions 1,2 & 3, IV, VIII Divisions 1, 2 & 3, X, XI, and XII.
*All ASME Authorised Inspection Agency activities are performed under the accreditation held by Lloyd's Register Verification Limited.
