In Greece we seek to provide the best possible service to the Hellenic maritime community and use their knowledge in shaping our strategy and priorities. We have a large office of over 120 people in Piraeus and we have Greek surveyors world-wide supporting our service delivery amongst the 8.000 staff employed in the Lloyd's Register Group.
Whether in Piraeus, Kifissia, Glyfada or in London, Busan, Shanghai and elsewhere as well as, most especially, in shipyards, our surveyors and technology leaders are helping provide expertise to support safety, innovative
insight and impartial advice.
Today with new regulatory requirements, environmental and sustainability imperatives, a tough market, and high fuel prices, the challenges for shipowners are not small. And we will always support the Greek market in meeting these challenges.
