The first Pressure Vessel Manufacturers’ Forum was held at the Hoval works in Lincoln on 23rd November 2011. Manufacturers attended the event which comprised a brief presentation from Lloyd’s Register on initiatives to enhance our service provision to pressure vessel manufacturers, a tour of the Hoval site and lunch. The forum provided the opportunity for networking and the opportunity to investigate collective representation of the manufacturing sector and potential collaboration.
The next forum will be held in the South Yorkshire region in March 2012 and following a discussion at the November forum the main speaker will be Andy Tuscher, the Regional Director of the EEF, who will be discussing the EEF’s part in lobbying government to support the UK manufacturing industry.
