Electrical and Control Engineer Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

You will carry out surveys, classification and limited statutory plan approval on existing and new building yachts, ships, inland waterway ship, mobile offshore units and fixed platform. You also assist builders and owners in the interpretation and application of the relevant rules en regulations and statutory regulation. You will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with all clients on a regular basis to disseminate industry relevant information and promote LR products & services.

Job Requirements

BSc or higher in Electrical engineering;

Demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical and control components;

Relevant work experience in navigation or off shore/industrial/rail will be seen as an advantage;

Able to use a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to optimise the application of existing and emerging technology

Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills including communication in English and preferably in Dutch at all levels;

Flexible, keen to learn and develop new skills;

Good motivator and proactive;

Be ready to work in foreign countries at irregular working hours.
