Railway Operations and Performance Training Courses
Operating railways is a complex task. Failures and the unavailability of railway systems costs time and money, and can introduce higher safety risks. But they can be reduced through improved design, equipment redundancy and preventative maintenance.
There is a growing focus on safety and performance improvement within all railway operations. There is often a balance to be reached between these two aspects and expertise is required to be able to take informed and robust risk based decisions.
Our courses primarily focus on improving operational reliability, safety, availability and maintainability. Asset management and integrity is a core subject and there are courses aimed at different levels in the organisation from administrative staff to senior management so they all recognise the role they play in safety and performance.
Subjects available include:
Asset management systems (BSI PAS-55)
Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS)
SMART maintenance
Accident investigation
Change management
