Railway Standards Training Courses

European and International railway standards are becoming less prescriptive and more risk-based, requiring a different approach to compliance.

There are many railway standards that govern regional, national and international requirements. Finding out which is applicable and how to comply is imperative for exporting railway systems to other countries.

We provide courses focused on the European requirements for railway systems that are needed for any imported or installed system into the European Union. New developments in international railway standards are also covered and new courses will be launched in line with the latest changes.

Subjects available include:

  • EC Directives and interoperability

  • International railway standards and their interaction

  • EN50128 (Software for Railway Control and Protection Systems)

  • EN50129 (Safety related electronic systems for signalling)
