Organisational training
The Academy can partner with your organisation to develop an internal training programme that forms a crucial part of your employee development scheme. These are training programmes where staff undertake the programme over 12 months or longer to meet technical competencies. These programmes can be designed for and are suited to any railway industry based organisation such as product designers and manufacturers, operators, constructors and maintainers.
These programmes are recommended pathways through the catalogue of courses aimed at developing a defined competence. These can be defined for individuals to prepare them for new roles, or for organisations as they enter new markets or need to develop competence.
In-company customised training
In addition to the training courses defined in our catalogue, we also provide tailored training courses covering new or established topics. This might include:
A training course that delivers the academic knowledge through a Lloyd's Register expert.
Supported by facilitated workshops that help apply the knowledge in specific and real day-to-day problems.
Followed by a mentoring programme to ensure staff have fully grasped the concepts and can coach others on principles.
Mentoring
Coupled with training courses, we offer ongoing day-today support to bring learning into the workplace through a
structured mentoring programme.
