How does Lloyd's Register Mariner work?
Using a Windows Explorer-style navigator, you can map your shipboard operations into Type, Group and Operation. The scenarios listed in USCG NAVIC 10-02 can also be created.
Once the operation has been created, shipboard staff can carry out a risk assessment of that operation in accordance with the guidance contained in the Code of Safe Working Practices for Merchant Seamen. Similarly, when the scenarios have been created, a ship security assessment can be carried out in accordance with USCG NAVIC 10-02 guidelines.
