Scandpower goes 'down under'

Our risk management consulting services in Australia will now be grouped under the Scandpower name to enable us to offer both consulting and compliance services in this booming energy market.

We have recently grouped our risk management consulting services under the LR Scandpower name in Australia.  As of January 2012, Scandpower began offering risk management services from three offices in Australia, located in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.  Grouping our risk consulting services into the LR Scandpower entity means that we can offer both consultancy and compliance services to the Australian market. 

The Australian Oil and Gas Conference 2012 (held on the 22-24 February in Perth) will be the first event where we promote this move to the Australian oil and gas market.

The three new offices will provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for our risk management services, as they are able to draw on resources from the Eurasian region as well as services from throughout the globe. The team will consist of 23 consultants who can supply risk services to oil refineries, fertiliser plants and chemical plants in Australia, in addition to providing extensive support to offshore projects throughout Eurasia and Asia.

LR Scandpower’s attendance at AOG will include a presentation on the "Identification of interlinked failures in complex systems", alongside several other events throughout the course of the conference, both companies will be located on stall U5 in the Health and Safety zone.
