We have appointed John Wishart to take charge of its ambitious global energy team. He takes the helm as higher energy prices spur asset investment and demand for technical assurance
John will be based in London and is expected to bring a wealth of experience to the job, having spent more than 30 years in the industry before joining Lloyd's Register earlier this month.
“Rising energy prices, stricter emission standards and the complexities of exploring new energy sources are increasing the technical assurance needs of companies operating in the energy supply chain," John said. “I am very much looking forward to the challenge of growing the energy business of the Lloyd’s Register Group in all its dimensions – upstream, downstream and the conventional, nuclear and renewables sectors. I am especially looking forward to working together with all of my new colleagues to drive the success of our energy business.”
