RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder is a unique risk modelling platform that helps designers and operators of safety-critical systems ensure uninterrupted, safe, and reliable operations by transforming the way they conduct risk assessments.
Building on the strength of KB3, originally developed and used by EDF for risk analysis across their critical infrastructure, RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder, accelerates the generation of risk and reliability analysis by automating and standardising the risk modelling process. By using this platform, EDF has experienced productivity gains of 40-80%.
RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder enables design engineers and risk analysts to automatically generate fault trees and other risk models from P&IDs and other component diagrams by drawing on a single, central repository of asset properties for risk modelling across the organisation. This brings new levels of efficiency, productivity and consistency to the risk assessment of complex, safety-critical systems.
RiskSpectrum ModelBuilder has three key features to automate, accelerate and standardise risk and reliability modelling process:
