Summary
We are looking for innovative digital solutions to address one of 4 challenges to improve human safety onboard ships and floating platforms.
Round 1 Overview
The nature of marine and offshore, and the environments in which these industries operate, makes working in these sectors some of the most dangerous in the world. Although conditions for crew and personnel are improving, there is more to be done to improve the safety of life on board ships and floating platforms.
The Lloyd’s Register Safety Accelerator is actively seeking proposals from companies with innovative digital ideas to address this Challenge Round, focussed on finding new ways to create safer work environments, particularly in marine and offshore. Successful applicants will not only benefit from trial funding but also the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading corporate challenge partners to accelerate development of their technologies and open up new markets.
We want to see solutions with potential appeal to a wide commercial market. Successful applicants will be expected to trial their proposed solutions with the industry challenge partners for approximately 3 months.
