Our independent verification service supports all types of installation operators who need to meet the EU Emissions Trading System, Phase 3 regulation (EU ETS3). This includes organisations operating in the chemical, glass, metallurgy, paper and refinery industries, and elsewhere with a fuel combustion of 20MW or greater.
Under this regulation, operators must submit a GHG emissions report. The data for a given year must be verified by an accredited body by 31 March of the following year. Once verified, operators surrender the equivalent number of allowances by 30 April of that year.
