This two-day interactive course provides guidance and insight into crisis and media response planning and execution during a marine emergency.
This course highlights the challenges a company may face during a maritime emergency, and provides you with effective techniques for dealing with the incident itself, and the media and other important stakeholders. In particular, it focuses on internal and external communications, including issuing press statements, giving media interviews and holding press conferences.
Through simulated exercises, you will have the opportunity to develop your interview technique in front of a camera and over the telephone. Working in teams, you will develop your response to a realistic scenario, including role-play.
