First published in 1998, this standard helps food manufacturers focus on a wide range of areas including HACCP, traceability, food fraud prevention, management commitment and quality management systems. The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) meaning successful certification helps your business retain, or unlock, access to key markets.
In August 2018, BRCGS published the 8th issue of the standard. Due to launch in February 2019, LR can help you prepare for the transition to ensure you meet the new audit criteria.
