Major firms step up activity in plant-based food sphere

There have been a number of developments in the plant-based food market that suggest an increasingly mainstream adoption of vegetarian and vegan lifestyle choices.

  • Theme park operator Disney has announced plans to offer more than 400 plant-based food items to parkgoers from October 2019, stating that its decision was in response to high customer demand.72
