In June 2019, the Foundation FSSC 22000 launched version 5 of its international food safety management system certification scheme, some two years after its last major overhaul.
The new edition incorporates all the improvements included in the June 2018 revision of international food safety management system standard ISO 22000 – upon which FSSC 22000 is based.
