Cloud QHSE

Be confident your offshore equipment and working practices are up to date. With the modules of Cloud QHSE, vessel crews comply with defined standards, easily execute inspections and audits, and share their data with colleagues ashore. The package offers options to inspect your vessels on the fly, handle observations and follow-ups, send company-specific circulars or ISM-relevant procedures directly to your vessels, and assess risks for tasks. Automated processing and reporting minimise management effort, support compliance and enhance HSE performance.

  • Circulars

With CFM Circulars, you easily create, maintain and send circulars without the need for emails. You decide whether the circular is sent to the whole fleet or just to vessels matching specific criteria (e.g. all vessels with same main engine). All current and past circulars are available ashore and on board, enabling new joining crew members to get themselves up to date, thanks to a historical overview. CFM Circulars reminds you on your next revisions and replaces outdated or not required circulars on board automatically.

  • Emergencies

Emergencies at sea can have disastrous consequences but being prepared for different scenarios can make all the difference. With CFM Emergencies, we are giving you the tool to provide your crew with detailed instructions to respond effectively in a real emergency. In line with both SOLAS and MARPOL, CFM Emergencies lets you define different categories of emergencies and their corresponding tasks as well as to define if they are mandatory or not. The respective location on board where the task needs to be carried out can be defined as well. Making sure that your crew is immediately aware of what to do and where to go. Each task can be allocated to specific seafarers and if a mandatory task has not been assigned, the system will automatically highlight this. If one of your crew members with an assigned duty will be disembarking soon, the system will alert you to select a new assignee. For cases where the crew needs to abandon ship, CFM Emergencies enables you to centrally manage all lifeboats of your vessel and assign your crew members to them. The system automatically checks that no lifeboat is overbooked and highlights any conflicts on the dashboard. Ensuring that an evacuation can be carried out wellarranged and quickly.

  • IHM

Since December 31, 2020, as part of the EU Ship Recycling Regulation, any ship which is 500 GT or over, regardless of flag, requires a valid and certified Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM) on board if calling at an EU port or anchorage. To help minimize risks and guarantee compliance with this guideline, we are offering you an innovative all-in-one solution. With CFM IHM you can document all potentially hazardous materials on board your vessel, as well as record their respective locations and quantity. Easily set up your catalogue of inventory on board and flag materials that are hazardous with just a single click. Centrally manage and monitor the IHM for all vessels of your fleet. Each item can be categorized by the respective part of the IHM (Part 1-3). Additionally, the MD and SDoC provided by the supplier can be attached to the corresponding material. If any potentially dangerous material is installed on board the ships at any time, this can of course be documented as well. To make reporting as convenient as possible, CFM IHM automatically pre-generates reports from your data that you can simply export and forward. Easily provide ship owners, crews, managing agents, and engineers with a management report of all the hazardous materials that are on board the vessel.

  • Incidents

CFM Incidents serves as your documentation pool for all incidents and near misses that occurred on board. You can document, categorise and define the point of occurrence for all events on board of your vessels. Additional to the capturing of incidents, with the documentation of near misses and their causes, you create a valuable knowledge base for your company, enabling you to prevent future incidents.

  • Inspection & Audits

After having executed your inspection with CFM Inspection Report, data is synchronised to CFM Inspections & Audits. In this module, you can edit your observations, analyse root causes and define, whether preventive or corrective actions should be initiated for fault rectification. If there is need for action, a checklist and a to-do list will be sent to your crew, so that they can take care of it. Hence, you can ensure that your fleet is in a technically perfect condition and that your crew can react to damages and defects as fast as possible. A full history of all internal inspections & audits is available for every vessel, including external inspections like Port State Controls or Vettings. With extensive planning features and the option to create templates for your questionnaires, you are always best prepared for upcoming inspections and have a complete overview of all tasks.

  • Inspection Report

All you need for auditing fits right in your pocket - CFM Inspection Report lets you conveniently conduct inspections using your mobile device. While auditing, you simply add photos, videos, comments or voice notes to your report. Whether iOS or Android, smartphone or tablet - simply use your favorite device to comfortably execute your inspections. The whole process is designed to be as easy as possible. After the setup of your company specific templates in the office using CFM Inspections & Audits, you can access all templates with the mobile Inspection Report app while on the vessel. This means, that you can easily perform your inspection step by step using your mobile device. To finalise the inspection, you simply synchronise your findings with the cloud, making it available for the vessel as well as the office – enabling follow-up procedures ashore and on board. Afterwards you can focus on your next inspection and finish your work back in the hotel or your office.

  • Procedures

To safely operate your vessels, certain regulations and procedures must be obeyed. The ISM code lays the foundation to ensure the safety of your crew, your vessels as well as the environment. As part of your safety management system (SMS) our module enables you to fast and easily send instructions to your vessels making sure that your fleet is up to date regarding e.g. safety instructions - achieving compliance with ease. Effortlessly send company policies and work instructions (with or without attachments) or assign responsibilities aboard your ships. In addition, the possibility to use recurring forms enormously simplifies the whole process. To increase collaboration and quality of processes, the crew can add comments and proposals for improvements to all procedures.

  • Risk Assessment

Organise your risk assessment digitally and minimise manual effort. Determine probabilities and implications of unwanted incidents. Allocate danger levels to every thinkable situation on board. Be on the safe side concerning insurances. With our modular design, you can create and assess any number of operations. For the risk assessment, you can allocate a risk level to every thinkable operation, e. g. ballast water replacement on the high sea or welding jobs on the vessel. You define the risk on a scale from 1 to 5 and decide, how high the probability is that this situation eventuates. Based on these values, our module calculates the risk probability and depicts them graphically in a matrix. On this basis, you can decide whether you approve the operation or not.
