Overview
In our program we will close the gap between knowing and doing. Together, we will explore the main program topic: communication. You will experience a flow of different learning tools, gaining first-hand experience of the impact of our approach. Our trainers will enrich the training with their diverse and extraordinary expertise, creating a slightly different and highly intense 2-day program. Working in teams all the time will provide you with the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge with other top professionals in an informal manner.
Gamification, Indoor & outdoor experience – what does this mean?
Indoor: Powered by Lloyd's Register and Atria Learning and Development.
Gamification is a hot topic in modern Learning & Development. Management simulations are being used as a major learning tool in management education programmes and for leadership development at all levels within learning organizations. Atria Learning and Lloyds Register will expose you to a virtual challenge, where you are asked to effectively create a buy-in of a virtual team. This challenge can only be mastered if you and your teammates transfer all your collective knowledge and shared experiences into the situation, understanding the present workforce – just like in real life.
Outdoor: Powered by HDEPP and HHP.
Lloyd's Register and Atria Learning partners HDEPP and HHP will introduce you to profound intrinsic motivation profiles, brain functions and experienced-based learning. Behavioural and physical reactions to stress and how to regulate those will be experienced and reflected upon, in order to maintain high-level excellence, increase effective communication and work together in a more pleasant, better and safer manner.
Why this development program?
Successfully implementing and communicating changes has always been vital in business environments. Ever-dynamic sectors like the marine, offshore, petrochemical industry, but also other business environments now realize that attempting to change someone's behaviour, without offering clear insights what drives this person, is a waste of time, money and energy.
Many conventional development programs have been designed in order to 'fix behavioural issues' trying to teach professionals the equivalent of a full master study plus 10 years of experience within a 3-day course or sometimes via e-learning! (Even though this is highly motivated optimism, it also does not work.)
