What is IRIS?
IRIS Certification™, rev. 03 from Lloyd's Register (LR) offers benefits to organisations across the global rail supply chain that need to demonstrate sector specific compliance.
UNIFE, the owners of the IRIS certification scheme, have combined the rail industry’s quality management system standard, ISO 22163:2017 with their own IRIS Certification™ rules.
It provides organisations with the confidence that they are meeting the robust criteria set out in ISO 9001, while factoring in the rail industry specific elements contained in ISO/TS 22163 and the widely adopted IRIS certification assessment methodology.
