LRQA has expanded its food safety training courses to offer FDA-recognized FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual for Human Food FSPCA training. The course provides a better understanding of the requirements of FDA Standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA Compliance, hazard analysis and risk-based preventive controls that meet the needs of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
The FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual for Human Food FSPCA Training helps ensure the safe manufacturing/processing, packing and holding of food products for human consumption in the United States.
This FSMA Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) training course was developed by the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) and is the standardized curriculum recognized by FDA. Successfully completing this course is one way to meet the FMSA employee training requirements for a PCQI.
This FSMA training course is designed with a curriculum which is intended as a FSMA PCQI training tool to assist companies in complying with the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act preventive controls regulations as part of the FSMA final rules. LRQA now offers this course for public registration and for private, on-site delivery.
“The consequences of a food recall can have devastating financial impacts for any company,” explains Chris Koci, President. “LRQA’s food safety training courses can help a company on this journey to assure their food products are as safe as possible for the consumer... The best recourse is prevention through developing a strong Food Safety Management System that is supported by highly qualified Preventive Controls Individuals embedded in the organization.”
