Presenter: Stephanie McLay, Senior Human Factors Consultant
Stephanie is a Senior Human Factors Consultant at Lloyd’s Register with a background in organisational psychology, training and human capability. She has both a MSc in Occupational Psychology from Northumbria University and a MSc in Human Factors (Ergonomics) from the University of Derby, United Kingdom.
Stephanie has a particular interest in situational awareness and decision making within safety critical environments as well as design of autonomous systems and seafarer and personnel wellbeing. She is passionate about raising awareness, and promoting broader understanding of key issues, on topics such as workload, safety culture and wellbeing. She is also the Chair of the IMarEST seafarer mental health and wellbeing special interest group.
