Among standards related to the farmed fish and shrimp, demand for ASC standard that establishes protocol on farmed seafood while ensuring sustainable aquaculture has been increasing in the past couple of years due to policy related to the sustainable sourcing of certified products from big retailers in the globe. Nowadays, ASC has launched the new scheme which will make ASC certification more accessible for small producers.
