Unity is a companywide forum supporting LGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies. Our peer-led network not only offers a safe space to share experiences, but it also seeks to drive positive change across LR and the wider marine industry – calling out discrimination and helping to direct company policy on issues that impact the community, such as gender transition, rainbow families and more.
As a network, we can constructively challenge without fear and contribute to Group-wide D&I plans with the full support of our executive sponsorships and allies throughout the business.
Unity is important to me because it provides a platform for people in our organisation who might not feel supported or isolated. It brings attention to LGBTQIA+ issues and allows LGBTQIA+ people within LR to have a voice in discussing issues that affect them.
