As part of the new Graduate training programme (GTP) set up for Gulf Cooperation Council nationals in the Middle East, we have signed our first Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Caledonian College of Engineering (CCE) in Muscat, Oman.
The agreement will help LR Energy and CCE to work together in developing summer internships and graduate training, knowledge exchange programmes and providing solutions to industry problems. The current scope of the GTP program for local / Omani national students currently involves Oman, UAE and Qatar but will be expanded to Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries in due course.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the College campus and was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al Hassan (Acting Dean for CCE) and Nick Nooren (Energy Area Manager for Middle East & Africa) and Michael Vredevoort (Energy Business Development Manager for Oman) from LR.
